01Day One
  • Our guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence at 08:00 AM and start towards National Assembly Building (National Assembly Hall / National Parliament House / Jatio Sangshad Bhaban). Visit the largest legislative building in the world which is designed by renowned US architect Louis Kahn.
  • Visit key Dhakeshwari Temple (Dhakeshwari National Temple / Dhakeshshori Jatio Mondir), which is 800 years old and the center of Hindu community in Dhaka.
  • Visit Lalbagh Fort (Fort Aurangabad), an incomplete fort of Mughal Era, one of the main attractions of Dhaka city. We will leave our car at this point.
  • Take Rickshaw Ride on the narrow street of Chawk Bazar (Chowkbazar), the Oldest and the Biggest Wholesale Market Place of Bangladesh.
  • Visit gorgeous Star Mosque (Tara Masjid), which is the only remain fine example of Chini Tikri (China Tikri) work in South Aisa, a decoration work done by mixed with mosaic, and broken tiles and glasses together.
  • Break for lunch in a descent local restaurant of Old Dhaka (Puran Dhaka) and taste the Traditional and Authentic local Bengali Cuisine (specially the Biriyani).
  • Walk through the narrow streets of Old Dhaka and visit Armenian Church (Armenian Apostolic Church of the Resurrection), one of the last remaining remarks of Armenians in Dhaka.
  • Visit Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace / Ahsan Monjil), the Official Residence of the Nawab’s of Dhaka, which is now a exhibition centre.
  • Visit Sadarghat River Port Station (Dhaka Sadarghat / Sodorghat), the Most Busiest River Port Station of South East Asia and enjoy a short boat ride at river Buriganga (Old Ganges) on a traditional handheld wooden boat to feel the rhythm of the live and vibrant river.
  • Take a walk on Shankhari Bazaar (Shakhari Bajar) street, the most Dense Hindu Resident Place in Bangladesh and the area was established in 17th century.

  • All of the sites are found open together on Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Literary Ahsan Manzil remain closed on Thursday, and opens after 03:00 PM on Friday. Lalbagh Fort remain closed on Sunday, and opens after 02:00 PM at Monday. Rest of the sites are remain open 7 days a week.
  • Ahsan Manzil and Lalbagh Fort will closed on any Govt. Holidays. You can visit other sites as usual except these two if you book your tour on any Govt. Holidays.
Eating :
  • Restaurants are widely available everywhere. There are few types of restaurant you will find, depends on their food, quality, hygiene and price. Our guide will help you to find decent restaurant where you will get the best quality food.
  • Most of the common Bengali Food is very tasty rather than Indian food. But the main difference is that the Bengali Food is bit spicy considering the Indian dishes.
  • Most of the places in Bangladesh you will find some common food like Kichuri (Kichudi / Kichdi), and Biriyani (Birani). Kichuri is a dish make with aromatic rice and lentils and served with a piece of meat or egg. Other hand Biriyani is a special dish cooked together with meat, aromatic rice and added spices.
  • You will find some Fast-Food corner as well. You can also find Samosa (Somocha) and Singara (Samosa) as a snacks everywhere.
  • Tea and soft drinks are very cheap. Mineral water is widely available.
  • We can take you to the Western Restaurant (depends on availability) if you wish (only on private tour) on your own expenses.

Tipping / Bakshis:
  • Tipping is common practice in Asia. There is no fixed limit in Bangladesh for tipping; most workers will expect a small tip, especially from foreigners. Anything from 100 Taka upwards, depending on the service provided by person.
  • At the end of the tour, if your principle guide and the driver have been helpful then you could think about tipping them. The amount can obviously be left to you.

  • Booking this tour at least 02 weeks in advance is advised.
  • Required full advance payment to book this tour.
  • You need to wear modest cloths to enter the mosque included on the tour. It’s not possible and also forbidden to visit the mosque wearing shorts.
  • Ladies need to cover their arms and hair while entering the mosque.
  • Shoes must leave outside while entering the mosque and temple.
  • Traffic in Dhaka are incredible sometimes, when everything is stuck in every intersections. You will remain stopped on the same place for long time without even moving an inch. Be prepared to walk a lot and wear shoes accordingly.
  • Pick up time will be at 09:00 AM on Friday and Saturday, and any other Govt. Holidays, as there would be less traffic on the streets on those days. Hotels or residence located on Southern part of Dhaka city, pick up time will be at 09:00 AM for this tour.
